I hate how so many people think that every Merthur fan who ships Lancelot/Guinevere support the latter only because it ‘gives opportunity for Merthur to be together forever’. There are plenty of us who ship it because it’s beautiful and angst-tastic, not because it leaves Arthur single and able to get it on with Merlin. Truthfully, Arthur could be married with grandkids and fandom can still make him get it on with Merlin.
It makes perfect sense, right?
